DAY ONE

Labuan Bajo-Waerebo village

  • The Adventure begins: 

    Embark on your journey at 7:00, where our team will pick you up from your hotel in Labuan Bajo. Prepare for a scenic drive to the captivating Waerebo village. 

    Indulge in a delightful picnic lunch with a view as you make your way towards the village. 

  • Waerebo trek:
    After lunch, your driver will drop you at the first basecamp (Dintor or Denge). You have the option of taking a motorbike for a shorter trek (approximately 2.5 hours) or embracing a 3-4 hour walk to the village. Please note that due to new regulations, entry into Waerebo village is not permitted after 5 PM. 

  • Immersive Cultural Experience: 

    Participate in a village ceremony, immersing yourself in the local culture. The day culminates in an authentic home-cooked meal, offering a taste of the warmth and hospitality of the Waerebo community. Spend the night in Waerebo, surrounded by the embrace of this unique village.

DAY TWO

Waerebo village- Ruteng

  • Morning Serenity: 

    Awaken to the gentle sounds of nature. After breakfast, embark on the trek down from Waerebo (approximately 3 hours). 

    Enjoy a buffet lunch along the way.

  • Lingko Rice Field Discovery: 

    Sip on a cup of coffee while relishing a panoramic view of the spider-web rice field. Marvel at the circular patterns reflecting sustainable farming practices and the deep connection between the community and the land. 

  • Ruteng Traditional Market: 

    This bustling marketplace provides insight into the daily life and trade of the community. It's an ideal spot to collect souvenirs, purchase a traditional sarong (songket), and soak in the local atmosphere.

  • Relaxation in Ruteng: 

    Check into your comfortable room. Relax before indulging in an authentic Indonesian buffet dinner. Rest early, preparing for the adventures of the following day. 

DAY THREE

Ruteng - Labuan Bajo

  • Wake up early to witness the sunrise while strolling around the rice terrace fields (approximately 2 hours walk) … Or sleep in!

    Recharge with lunch along the route. 

  • Cunca Wulang Waterfall Adventure: 

    Embark on a short trek to Cunca Wulang Waterfall, where you can challenge your spirit with cliff jumping or simply bask in the serenity of this untouched oasis. 

  • Sunset in Paradise: 

    Conclude your day with a refreshing drink at Paradise Bar, Labuan Bajo's premier sunset viewpoint. This legendary establishment, the oldest bar in town, is renowned for its live music and vibrant nightlife. Experience the transition from serene sunset to lively nighttime ambiance. 

  • Drop-off and End of Service: 

    Our team will drop you off at your hotel, marking the end of your journey through Flores with us.

    Depending on the size of the group, our transportation offer scales from car to minibus.

  • Rural communities and tour operator work together in trying to keep a sense of authenticity while meeting with comfort standards for visitors. Achieving such a balance is not always easy.

    Expect basic sleeping arrangements, sometimes on the floor with thin mattresses and in only one open space. Common toilet, bucket shower and no hot water.

    To ensure comfort after this immersive experience, our tour includes a stay in a top-rated hotel in Ruteng. This charming hotel provides modern amenities and a high level of comfort.

  • Breakfast and dinner will be enjoyed in the villages, providing you with simple but authentic taste of local cuisine. For lunch, we will make stops along the way, often opting for picnics.

    We will provide some snacks, water, tea, and coffee during the tour. However, we also understand the importance of personal preferences, so we will make stops for you to shop and choose your own snacks and beverages along the way.
